IMPACT
INITIATIVES
At DGM, we believe every story matters.
Beyond campaigns, content, and visibility, our work is rooted in something deeper: impact.
Our mission goes beyond media, we are committed to shaping lives, empowering voices, and contributing meaningfully to the communities and industries we are part of.
These initiatives reflect the heart behind our brand and remind us why we do what we do.
Supporting Families. Empowering Children. Strengthening Communities.
Since 2018, we have intentionally shown up for underserved communities across Lagos, particularly during World Food Day (October 16), a period that aligns with the back-to-school season.
Through this initiative, we have reached communities including Makoko, Ajegunle, Apapa, Ajah, and Badagry, providing:
* Food support
* School essentials
Over the years, we have supported 5,000+ children, equipping them with tools that encourage both education and hope.
A defining moment for us came in 2023, when proceeds from Brand You: The Art of Intentional Branding were used to support children at Adekunle Primary School, Makoko, seamlessly connecting storytelling, purpose, and community impact.
Beyond providing essentials, we are committed to equipping young people with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in today’s world. In line with this vision, we launched the School2School Teens Summit, an initiative created to educate, inspire, and empower teenagers.
The maiden edition, School2School Teens Summit 1.0, brought together over 100 teenagers for an engaging and impactful learning experience. The summit featured two guest speakers who led insightful sessions on the positive and responsible use of social media, encouraging participants to leverage digital platforms for learning, personal development, creativity, and career growth while navigating the online space responsibly.
Through initiatives like these, we continue to invest not only in children’s immediate needs but also in their future, preparing them to become confident, informed, and purpose-driven members of society.
Documenting and celebrating African women shaping digital culture.
Launched during the 2020 lockdown, the Female Influencers Series (FIS) was created as a safe and empowering space for women in the influencer ecosystem to connect, learn, and grow across different niches and countries.
Edition One
Theme: Learn, Unlearn & Listen to Her Untold Story
Featuring voices from across Africa including Ghana, South Africa, and Kenya.
Edition Two – Tech, Music & Fashion
Bringing together women shaping culture across industries and borders.
Over two successful editions, FIS has grown into more than a series, it is a documented movement of African women defining digital culture in real time.
The next chapter will be our first in-person experience in 2026, expanding conversations into deeper connection and collaboration.
A home for emerging artists seeking direction, structure, and community.
Built from years of hands-on experience working with artists at different stages, The Clarity Network was created to answer one recurring question:
“What’s the next step?”
In 2025, this led to the creation of Wetin Be The Plan: A Roadmap for Emerging Artists, a resource designed to provide clarity in an often confusing industry.
To bring this to life, we hosted the first Clarity Network Workshop (1.0), gathering over 100 attendees and industry professionals to have honest, practical conversations around:
– Monetizing talent
– Standing out in a competitive industry
– Building the right network
– Understanding the business behind the art
The result:
Over 200 copies of the book sold across formats, and more importantly, a growing community of artists is seeking direction and structure.
OUR LONG-TERM VISION:
To build one of Africa’s most impactful artist communities.
Offering:
– Quarterly workshops
– Career structure and guidance
– Legal and deal support
– Business education
– A safe space to navigate the “how,” “what,” and “next”
The Clarity Network is a core DGM initiative, created to give back to an industry that continues to shape us.
